The wood pulp mill and our permanent exhibition

The permanent exhibition shows which types of production characterised activities at the mill through the ages. From the water-powered mill, trip hammer and saw to the efficient operations of the forge, foundry, mechanical workshop and pulp production.

Slide shows, objects and models vividly tell the story of the living conditions and the people at Forsvik mill from the Middle Ages to the 1900s.
