Foundry and forge

The foundry opened in 1898 and produced parts in brass and bronze for the large iron foundry. Today, four pot furnaces and the associated tools and equipment can be seen in the room.

The forge is the last in the long line of forges that existed in Forsvik. Agricultural tools and parts for cast iron production were manufactured here. The forge was closed in 1969 and today it is a perfectly preserved and unique environment with a complete set of tools and machinery.
